I love chorizo and I love that its put on a bed of mixed greens – the husband loves a runny egg too! 😀

You know Tony is feeling better when he asks if he can make ME breakfast!  I never say no to that.  He made me a potato, red pepper and pancetta frittata with some toast on the side.  He spiced it up with some chili oil – this was delicious!  Thanks honey – no one makes eggs as good as you!  My guess is this plate is about 10 points (I ate 3/4 of it).

My SIL Jody came over to be my shopping partner in crime.  Here are Tony and Jody – Jody is holding the wound vac!

Our first stop was Williams-Sonoma.  Usually when I have a gift card I end up buying lots of little things to feel like I got more bang for my buck.  Not this time!  I only bought three things and my total came to $85!

First up:  a REALLY REALLY ($30) nice muffin tin.

Even without any Pam, they muffins came out perfectly:

Then I found these on the discount rack – aren’t they cute?  Mini cast iron enameled pots.  Check out the original price!  I am thinking of making individual casseroles with these – maybe even make mini breakfast quiches in them?

Lastly, I got these wire skewers – a set of four for $20.  No matter how long I soak wooden skewers, they always seem to burn. 🙁

Then we went to Moe’s Southwest Grill for lunch:

I got the chicken rice bowl – I did the nutritional calculator on their website – it said 13 points for the whole thing.  I ate about 2/3 of this and with some chips, I am calling lunch 10 points.

Okay, I am going to wrap this post up – its so long!  I ended up making this beef stew again for dinner last night – just as good as the first time around.  When I reached into my bag of potatoes, these were the first three that I pulled out:

I don’t even want to tell you what Tony said after seeing these! 😀

BSI THIS WEEK:  BEEF!  It’s what’s for dinner.
