Quick post before I do Day 18 of shred! Tony just asked me “are you going to earn a sticker today??”
I went to my grand-nephews soccer game this morning – so glad it wasn’t raining and/or freezing! They are starting to keep score which is really cute. I came half way through the game and I shot this pic as he first noticed me on the sidelines!
And then his pose for Grammie and Grandpa to see:
I picked up hot dogs and fries for Tony and picked up a grilled chicken pita for me – I added a tablespoon of my spicy barbecue sauce when I got home. I added about 1 teaspoon of oil to calorieking since they “fry” the pitas on the grill.
Garage Sale Season is almost here! The only thing I don’t like about garage sales in my area is that they usually start on Thursdays, and by Saturday, they are usually picked over. Didn’t stop me from going to a couple though!
I also found a couple vintage recipe/cookbooks. I absolutely love them and read each recipe like a book:
I went to the store to get a few things for dinner and as I was walking to the car, my eyes started to feel weird, and the sweat started to pour – sure sign of low blood sugar!
Hannah came home from work and I am pretty sure she’s taking a nap right now! But not before we went to the library and the local thrift store.
My baked potatoes are in the oven, so its time to work out. Come on back for Grilled New York Strips, Cucumber Salad and Loaded Baked Potatoes!
Cute snowman! And it gets bonus points because it’s wearing skates (even if I can’t see them).
And garage sales on Thursdays? I’ve only ever seen garage sales on Saturdays & Sundays.
I’d never seen garage sales start on Thurs. until moving here. Great if you’re out of work, but I agree – too bad for us that have to wait for the weekend. Luckily, we have 2 neighbors diagonally across the street have 3 or 4 during the summer so I can just walk right over and peruse!
Chicken pita looks to die for!
And I love old cookbooks – those cheese cookies are so simple, I’m gonna need to try them! I love the condensed note-card format.
Did you give him his Frisbee?
Thank you so much for pictures. Isn’t he adorable.
Aunt Biz and Uncle Tony sure made a big hit with that ‘best ever’ Easter basket (as he put it).
You guys are great!
That is such a cute picture of your nephew, adn i’m jealous of the books you got!
oh he’s adorable!
What a fun day!
Cute soccer pic!
Glad you got some tobasco!! Fun cookbooks!
Your grand-nephew is so cute!
I love the way the ‘cheese cookies’ suggest ‘filling with prunes’ ha!
Hahah, I love shakes from McDonalds!
And that is so awesome you went to the game – great pictures!!
