Back to my egg sammie: 1/2 whole wheat bagel, 1 egg, arugula and 1 ounce of pepper jack cheese, probably the best cheese ever made!
I’ll pick a winner of Charlie’s book tomorrow morning. I am crazy – two give aways in one week! Happy Thursday – see you at lunch.
I’m a bit late but HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Charlier 🙂
Happy Birthday Charlie!
I don’t need the book….just wanted to actually give you birthday wishes!
That sammie looks so yummy!! I’ve never made one on a bagel. I have been know to eat my share of eggs with cheese on them though.
Happy Birthday To Charlie. Does this mean you’re a year funnier???
Happy Birthday, Charlie!!!
One time my husband had to take a business trip to Seattle and he brought home this cheese as a gift/treat from his trip… WOW. I think it may be my favorite cheese ever. Haven’t had it since (and that was… almost 3 years ago) but I wish I could find it locally.

I LOVE cheese- in all it’s forms and permutations. Happy Birthday Charlie! You share your birthday with a VIP (in my family, at least) my oldest son turns 6 today!
Aquarius’ rock!
Happy Birthday to your brother. I also like pepper jack, and sometimes even go with the habanero jack. The kind I get at my FM isn’t very salty, so I shred it with salty mozzerella and keep it in the freezer for when I need some. Yummy!
Happy Birthday to Charlie 😀
And I must find me some pepper jack cheese – I can’t say I’ve ever seen it, maybe it’s called something else in Canada.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLIE!!!
Have the book – enjoyed it very much.
Happy Birthday, Charlie! (I already have your book, so I am leaving a birthday comment out of sheer niceness.)
Hi! I just found your blog (I am not exactly sure how ~ the blog hop!) and I am enjoying all your pics and your love for cheese. While, I am not nearly the cheese fan as you I do love some melty cheese on a hot sandwich! You arugula looks so yummy! Can’t wait to keep reading!
Happy Birthday Charlie!
Love the title of that book. Diets don’t fail you…or work or don’t work. The only thing that works is me. Which is great! Then I can be accountable for either failing or succeeding.
The cover of the book always cracks me up. The look on her face is SO appropriate for how we all feel inside about our weight.
Good luck with the pasta! When we were younger, my parents always used to make fresh pasta. It’d be this huge ordeal, where the whole kitchen would be scrubbed down so they could use all the counter and table surfaces to roll and cut them out. Then, my mom would arrange those wooden clothes-drying racks (the folding kind) and dry the pasta laying over those. It’d just be a big day full of family and flour everywhere! I haven’t had fresh pasta in awhile… but the taste is definitely a lot different than dried.
Happy Birthday to your brother. He already twisted my arm enough for me to actually buy his book, so I already got my copy.
Now, as a side note: This book is very funny and a really good read so if you don’t win it, go out and buy it. I think it helps pay for his piano lessons.
Happy Birthday! Hope you celebrate with a big bowl of HoneyComb 🙂
Happy Birthday, Charlie!!
Happy Birthday Big Brother!
I too am a big fan of the pepper jack. Off to spread birthday wishes…
Yeah…it’s Charlie’s birthday! I am off to send him some wishes!
That egg sandwich looks delicious, I love pepper jack cheese!
Just wanted to say that the book is funny and a good read 🙂
I won it in the December giveaway … so if my comment comes up again, pull from the hat again to give someone else a chance 🙂
Pepper jack = yum!
Am heading over to say happy birthday:)
That egg sammie looks pretty tasty!
Happy birthdayyyy!
