Hannah is so organized, she puts together her ingredients for her egg bagel, puts it in a dish in the fridge, and puts her half bagel in the the toaster ready to toast first thing in the morning.
She gets picked up for school usually before I get up, so when I walked into the kitchen (thanks for making coffee Han!) I saw her half bagel in the toaster. Then I looked and saw her egg ingredients still in the fridge! Either she changed her mind, or ran out of time. All I know is that breakfast was decided for me!
I added her ingredients to 1/4 egg beaters. My half bagel came in at 1.6 ounces, and I had 1/2 cup cottage cheese (with salt and pepper = yum!) and 3.5 ounces of chopped pear. It was one of the pears I got 10 for $1, and while the skin looks discolored and brown, I peeled it and it turned out delicious!
Off to work . . . see you at lunch! One more day til the weekend!
umm, what a bagel!! hannah sure does it right 🙂
I swear I love that kid, when are you flying her out to me?
Mmm delicious!
That’s very organized. I need to start doing that.
I really ought to know better than to check out your site before lunch, Biz!
I like pepper on my cottage cheese, too. I also like it with lemon pepper. Sometimes curry powder. (You can tell I was bored with eating it plain. 😉
that bagel looks unreal!
I noticed that yesterday – fruits and veggies are on sale like crazy this week!
Stellar breakfast 🙂 Have a great Thursday!
10 pears for $1 or $1 a pear? Either way, that’s cheap!!! Have a good day!
10 pears for $1!! My grocery store has a $1 rack – each package is $1. I’ve gotten 20 tomatoes for $1 (to make pasta sauce) 20 limes for $1, 5 canteloupe for $1 – you just never know what you’re going to get!
