Since almost everyone in food blogosphere has oatmeal for breakfast, I decided to make some too. It’s so quick with the minute oats. I usually make it at home and then warm it up at work. Today’s oatmeal had 2 ounces of sliced banana, 1 tablespoon of Planter’s granola mix and 1 teaspoon of coconut – the coconut actually made this oatmeal!
I had every intention of walking Ed this morning, but when I got back from dropping off Hannah at school, I let Ed out in the back yard and went to put a load of laundry in really quick, and by the time I came back upstairs (two minutes maybe?) I go outside and he’s nowhere to be found. So I am walking back by the woods, don’t see him. Call his name, nothing! So I come in the house and lo and behold he’s already curled up on our bed again! I guess he doesn’t like the cold weather!
See you at lunch!
Haha your dog cracks me up! Great bowl of oats you had this morning 🙂
Happy Tuesday!!
so creative. I would never have thought of the coconut (which is why I never blog about food I guess)…gonna try that as breakfast for dinner for my daughter.
Id like to pretend that’s a rarity—but we often eat oats for dinner.
you can mail my mom of the year award to my po box 🙂
MM great idea with the coconut flakes!
