Because I couldn’t think of anything to make, Tony stepped in and made the decision for us. So good!
Seafood Alfredo! His sauce base was a white sauce made with skim milk and parmesan cheese – and he used chili powder to kick it up a notch!
The seafood of choice was shrimp!

The finished product?
And there are plenty of leftovers! I think I’ll add broccoli to mine tomorrow:
One good thing about the weather turning colder? Um, flannel sheets! Mine just happen to be snowmen!
Watching the Biggest Loser – we’ll talk about it tomorrow! Night!
Looks so delicious!
When I was in high school I had snowflake sheets on my bed all year long! I saw some at Target the other day and almost bought them 🙂
Hey ! Thanks for the idea about spaghetti squash in lasagna! I bet that is so good (and talk about saving calories!) That dinner looks sooooooooooooooo good! Ow! Shrimp + Pasta= such a good combo!
The shrimp looks delicious, and I couldn’t live with out my flannel sheets either. Especially tonight!
Thanks Tony! I missed a lot of details didn’t I! Thanks again! xoxoxo
Actually the shrimp was cooked in the cast iron skillet with lots of garlic, olive oil, and fresh basil. I then removed the shrimp and made a roux with the juice from the shrimp, oil and garlic that was left in the pan. I think I used about a teaspoon of flour. I added skim milk and parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. I stirred on medium high heat until it thickened.
Details details!
Awesome post because 1) shrimp and 2) flannel sheets!!! I miss my flannel sheets! I live in Cali now and I guess we don’t need them as much. But it does get chilly and maybe I will try them out anyway 🙂
